This is the coolest pastry mat I have ever seen! First of all, it is silicone, which makes it easy to clean up, can freeze it and bake it. If you look at it closely, you see two recipes on the left, measurements on the right, ruler on all sides, and a ton of different circles in black and yellow.
Sugar cookies is the first recipe, and Pie Dough is the second. The black lined circles are for different pie crust sizes, and there are metric to standard measurements in dry and liquid on the right. The yellow circles are places to show where and how big cookies you can get. The rulers are just that, to measure noodles, length of dough and the like.
It washes super easy, and nothing really sticks to it. It is stain resistant, and can be frozen, refrigerated, and baked to about 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
This is a great gift for someone just moving out on their own. Everything needed to start baking in one item!
