I admit, I've always used the cheap plastic circle rings in whatever color for years. They discolor with age and they don't slide well over most rods. I have a plastic rod currently, so they rub instead of glide. Clunky, and ugly they are almost always.

Not these! They are sleek, shiny, and so stylish!

Compared to the big plastic circle rings, they are slimmer. The have a push close, kind of like a safety pin. They are very hard to maneuver.

All in all, these love so much more pretty than the ones I was using. They even coordinate with my shower curtain, so double win.
