I'm a gamer. I play World of Warcraft when I can, usually when my son sleeps or is at Nana's or Mamaw's. 

When he sleeps, I keep my game turned down so it doesn't wake him, but really wanted a headset to plug in so I could hear it better without waking him, but not so loud that I couldn't hear him if he needed me.

These fit the bill perfectly!

Totally compact, they have hinges to fold the ear pads up in on itself. It has a very long cord wrapped in nylon to help protect the wire. 

It also has a mic and play/pause button or pickup/hang up button. You can use this with your phone if you want, and personally is so much more comfortable for my ears as my ears are between ear bud sizes it seems. Too big or too small, there is no between. Ha ha.

It is a 35mm plug, which means it will fit in most standard phone jacks, computer/laptop/tablet jacks, and even stereo systems. If you still have one that is!

Bright neon orange this one is, and it comes in many other colors as well.

No one when I called had any feedback or static issues, but boy I did. Also, if you twirl the jack around while it is plugged in, it gets really bad static. It may have been my particular headset, but I really am not too disappointed to use it for the computer.
