I will admit. I have a cast iron skillet. Doesn't mean I use it often! They, to me, are a bit of a pain to care for, keep seasoned, wash, and prevent rust. They are heavy too.

I do use it on occasion to get a nice crust on a rouladin (German dish) and then just throw in the oven. 

I am aware stainless steel works just as well, but if it has a plastic handle, over time they just don't last an oven trip.

When my rouladin is done, it is full of crusted fat and cracklings that are stuck to the texture of the pan. I have elbow grease, just it takes it ALL to get it clean. Enter the XL stainless steel cast iron cleaner. It knocks things rags and sponged can't get off. 

After about five minutes actively working with it, my pan is clear to wash and season.

This also works for stainless steel, but not super duper well, in my opinion.

It comes with a suction cup hook to hang for storage and proper drying.
